It doesn't take long for a 4 year old to say something to brighten up your day. Maddie took care of that just after dropping Emily off to school today. While walking out of the school this morning a woman about the age of my mom and mother-in-law walked past us. Let me interject here and say that any woman who appears to be the age of her grandmas, Maddie immediately thinks she is one. It's like when toddlers see men an assume that all men are daddies. Anyhoo......after this woman passed us, Maddie looked up at me and said, "Mommy, I hope you don't turn into a grandma." I just smiled and replied, "Maddie, I hope I don't turn into a grandma for a long time either."
Kids certainly say the darndest things sometime.
